Digital Design is a screen-based design program at the University of Colorado Denver. The Digital Design program integrates aesthetic, creative, and critical thinking with expertise in advanced electronic media. Configured as an interdisciplinary arts and design laboratory, Digital Design offers a hands-on education combining new art technologies and design concepts within a concentrated theoretical framework.
Through an interdisciplinary approach, the Digital Design program produces artists and designers who will use technology in innovative ways and promotes an understanding of the cultural impact and uses of digital technologies.
Designucd.com is an informal site put together by faculty and students in the Digital Design program to showcase student work, post news about design and to host an extensive collection of material related to courses in 3DMotion, Interactive Design, Scientific Visualization and Design.
