Core Exercise – Glass Bottle Labeling

Using what the bottles you created in Exercise #3, create an original design for the labels. You can create totally new designs, but there are some details to these bottles that need to be included in your design. These are:

  • Deckled edges
  • Wrapped label offset (like the Bulleit bottle)
  • Embossed glass details

You can be creative! Label Design and typography is included as part of the grading for this exercise. Some suggestions – create an embossed pattern or border rather than typography, experiment with different materials (metals, glossy, specular maps, etc.) both for the labels and parts of the bottles.
