Digital Design offers electives that we highly recommend to fulfill your Visual Arts Elective requirement. These include – FINE 3438 Text, Image and Electronic Art, FINE 4434 Virtual Landscapes, FINE 3474 Narrative and Experience, FINE 3448 Scientific Media Design II and FINE 4448 Scientific Media Design III.
In addition, courses outside of VA can be used with prior approval from the Digital Design Area Head Prof. Bryan Leister. This attachment includes an extensive list of courses outside of VA that have relevance to Digital Designers.
The attached list are examples and many of them might require prerequisites or permission of the instructor. Many instructors will grant an exception if there is room in the class and if a student shows aptitude for the topic.
